I came across a photographer called Fleur Olby who takes pictures of plant portraits and mainly in a very close macro focus. I thought these could be beautiful examples to represent speech, looking at colour and how can maybe represent how they talk but also reminds me of the spectrograms i have previously seen. The thorn (first) picture really reminds me of a 3d version of a waveform for music!
