Over the last days i have been re-working what i want to create for my fmp. so here goes what i want to create during this project. I feel my work has to be in a motion format so looking to make loads of experiments and then can take those images to make one single book.


-I want to recorded to accents take audio and look at syllables and every time there is a syllable the audio changes to the other accent. I am going to be doing alot of experiments in the next week or so. Also here is two videos looking at the idea of a hybrid in dialect but splitting the screen with the type into two. A very quick experiment were I think the type works really well for a start and has the feeling of it coming and going in the sound, but need to work on the audio but interesting start.








-I am looking to create a font and love the idea of printing the font and stick around the walls and record the phrase when i will be moving past in the car. Here is a quick mock up what i would like to create. Could lead to some lovely photographs as well!



- I wanted to take the idea of letters been putting on the wall but had the idea what if i could learn to make blocks or letters coming out the buildings with the same texture but coming out how loud each letter is pronounced in the recordings? Just need to look into on how to do this!


- I want to record people on what they think of somebodys accent for example i have yam yam and geordie so see what geordie think of yam yam and yam yam think of geordie's. Could lead to something beautifully type set to juxtapose the heavy imagery so far.


-want to continue my work on sounds patterns and look into colour to express the difference in each dialect.


-want to look at pure data of each accent see if this can go somewhere?


-want to explore recording someone saying the alphabet and look at expressing in a typographical way with the sound patterns and see if it can go anywhere?


- im not sure why i didn't come up with this earlier but making a glossary other the different phrases and saying each dialect has and bringing in the tracing paper idea having the slang phrases/words on top letting the proper pronunciation/correct way underneath on separate sheet of paper. This lead on to the idea of having certain pages set in the slang pronunciation but having the proper way of saying it uv varnishing or maybe light grey over the slang.


-When doing the vacuum moulding i came across the idea of making a landscape but when animating u dont see it, but to express the landscape would animate typography over it so the type changes form as it moves over. Again not sure how to do it yet but in my software lesson maybe could explore into.




Thats most of my ideas so far that i want to explore this week, i feel it is starting to come to together now! Finally!
